Job Details for the Medical Billing Representative:
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
- Pay Rate: $18/hr
- Contract to hire!
Job Responsibilities & Description for Medical Billing Representative:
- Exporting, importing, and submitting claims from one system to another system
- Medical billing collections and follow up
- Resolving insurance denials and underpayments
- Review medical claims
- Identify and resolve outstanding issues preventing claim resolution
- Documentation and data entry
- Verification of health insurance benefits
Job Requirements for Medical Billing Representative:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year experience in the healthcare billing required
- Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes is a plus
- Experience working with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience using EMR systems such as Epic/Navinet is a plus
